Did you know that you have a vibrant, lively retirees association waiting for you when it’s time for you to think about life after college?

The St. Lawrence College Retirees Association is an independent association of former faculty, staff, and managers and they get together regularly for social events, golf tournaments, and more. Best of all, they don’t talk shop!

Their purpose is to get together to socialize, do some educational stuff together, volunteer in our communities and support local charities, but mostly, they like to socialize – eat, drink and be merry!

The association is a great way to stay connected to your friends and make new ones, and it’s a great way to learn more about what retirement is like, before you get there. Will your pension be enough? How will you fill your days? Why not go straight to the source and speak with your former coworkers who have lived the experience you’re wondering about?

Retiring this summer? Thinking about retiring in the next few years? Wondering what life after college is like? Find out more at the SLC Retirees Association website or join them at their upcoming session at the Learning Connections Conference.

Ready to learn more but not ready to talk to your manager about retirement yet? Don’t worry. Your secret is safe with us!
